ALWAYS STEPS AHEAD AT BEAT & RAW Featured

The boundary breaking urban-feel party with a difference Beat & Raw continues to bring an eclectic vibe to Space Ibiza every Friday.

Fusing styles ranging from hip hop and R&B to techno, drum & bass, electronic and even with elements of pop, it’s changing the way people think about enjoying and discovering new music.

This week Belgian duo Mumbai Science and DJ/Producer duo Jonas Kiesekoms and Maarten Elen take centre stage. Known for their numerous releases including “Woof”, “Ancova” and “Gold”, the artists formerly known as Project Cyborg have been popping up all over the world - as have their aforementioned tracks on the playlists of the best DJs in the industry (including the likes of 2manydjs).

2012 has brought the duo even greater success and The Unified Theory Parts 1, 2 and 3, all released this year on Lektroluv label take their ethos of “contemporary electro-synths with a vintage techno feel” that extra step further. Expect to see something unique from these two young and very creative guys who have an extremely bright future ahead of them.

Also getting ready to rock the dancefloor is Zombie Nation. No stranger to other wordly production techniques and often performing his shows in whatever wig takes his fancy (yes, really) the creator of the smash-hit track “Kernkraft 400” is sure to pull out all the stops when he graces the main room this Friday.

Real name Florian Senfter, this interesting German DJ/producer makes the stage his own every time he plays at Space Ibiza and refuses to stick to any rules, normally giving a mind-blowing and spectacular show that stays with you.

As usual, Oscar Cano, Ramon Castells and Daisy Heartbreaker will also be on hand to ensure the Beat & Raw crew have the best time possible. An expert in rocktronica, Daisy’s repertoire is seriously impressive and this girl is always one step ahead.

Don’t miss it.
