Ibiza Calling is night simply packed with raw energy, big tunes twisted with electro rifts and a vibe that you’ll only find at Space on Mondays.
This week was extra special thanks to our friends at Pepsi who supported the night in full force as Wally Lopez, Cedric Gervais, Wolfgang Gartner, Sebastien Drums as well as our residents Camilo Franco, Oscar Cano and Ramon Castells led a jam-packed Terrace and Sunset Terrace to maximum speed.
Wally Lopez was up first on the Terrace and as always, he delivered an exceptional set of pure unadulterated fun. Twisting house with electro, throwing in vocal tracks with euphoric climaxes and bringing the crowd to the top before exploding the dancefloor time after time, Wally showed that he expertly knows how to throw a party. Keeping the clubbers dancing to the beat, controlling them from the palm of his hand, Wally didn’t disappoint and when the Spanish label boss, producer and general trend setter closed his set, the crowd were applauding for more.
Cedric Gervais took over from Wally on the Terrace with what can only be described as a high-energy, hands in the air session. Bringing a darker electro house beat to the decks and pumping the world class Funktion One system to the max, the excited crowds completely immersed themselves in the music which was backed up by high-tech visuals.
Onto the Sunset Terrace where the vibe was a little more laid back, Camilo Franco made waves with funky, sexy mixes that got everyone on the floor. Oscar Cano effortlessly continued this vibe and threw out some electronic remixes of vintage chic classics that appealed to all ages. Uniting the young, happy clubbers who just wanted to have fun, Ramon Castells was also on form with danceable tunes that made you move.
Back onto the Terrace, Grammy nominated DJ/producer Wolfgang Gartner spinned a spectacular set. The creator of so many top electronic tracks completely smashed it with hit after hit and ensured that no one was left disappointed. Raising the roof with the emblematic style which has made him such a sought after figure on the scene, Wolfgang delivered a faultless performance.
The perfect way to begin the week!
