A tradition is a belief or behavior passed down within a group or society with symbolic meaning or special significance with origins in the past. In the case of Ibiza and the clubber culture, one in particular stands out: the Space Opening Fiesta. A celebration with 26 years of history, known to all as the opening that kicks-off the party season in Ibiza.
On Sunday, May 31st at 4:30 PM, Space Ibiza will open its doors to welcome thousands of people who arrive to the White Island with the same goal, to dance together in one of the most anticipated parties of the year. The dance halls of the club at Playa d'en Bossa will be equipped with Funktion One and Pioneer DJ sound systems, in addition to professional lighting managed by Martin, all of which are operating at full capacity to meet the demands of the best audience in the world.
As always, the Flight Club, which is one of the most impressive areas of Space Ibiza, will be set up. This large outdoor area will be sponsored by Red Bull, hosting a stage, production and entertainment special for the occasion. The club will also have the support of one of the most powerful and prestigious festivals in the world. Ultra Music Festival will take over the Main Room, carrying their values to the Main Room of Space Ibiza.
The world's most significant electronic music magazine, DJ Mag, will take over the legendary covered Terrace ensuring a night full of entertainment and good music. On the other hand, elrow Ibiza will occupy the Sunset Terrace contributing with a touch of the madness that characterizes them. Also open El Salón and the Primere Étage, the outdoor area located on the top floor, completing a total of 6 rooms.
37 artists will be responsible for putting on the soundtrack to the 2015 Space Opening Fiesta. Luciano, who also has a residency at Vagabundos in Space Ibiza every Sunday from June 7th to September 27th, heads a full lineup of great DJs. Cadenza boss will have two sessions: he will be responsible for closing the Flight Club and continue at dawn on the Terrace. London duo Groove Armada (DJ Set) is another highlight, their unique style and exquisite musical selection never leaves anyone disappointed. The veteran Sasha, one of the living legends of electronic music, will also be present. We are certain that the Englishman will delight the audience with his latest summer hit release, "Ether". There will also be artists such as Technasia and Pleasurekraft performing back to back, Elio Riso, Blackhall and Bookless and DJ Mykris. Plenty of Spanish talent, such as Coyu, Los Suruba, Edu Imbernon, Wally Lopez, David Moreno, Igor Marijuan, Vallès, Coolmachines, Jonathan Tena, Juan Gomez, Aphotek and YanM!kale. Representing the the Cadenza label, Michel Cleis and Ernesto Ferreyra B2B Cesar Merveille; and to close-out the Main Room Santé B2B Sidney Charles B2B Darius Syrossian.
On the other hand, elrow Ibiza will stay true to the sound that distinguishes them thanks to its team of residents De La Swing, Toni Varga, Marc Maya and Mario Biani B2B George Privatti. Nor could the event miss having their regulars Marco Loco, Mr.Doris, Paul Reynolds, Ramon Castells and of course, the resident of Space Ibiza, Javi Bora, who will spin back to back with one of the most veteran DJs of Ibiza, Jose de Divina.
