KEHAKUMA, AVANT-GARDE IN PURE STATE Featured

KEHAKUMA FINALKehakuma invites you to the most avant-garde party of the white island on Saturday, September 21st, starting at10pm.

The night will begin in the Zen Garden with performances by Fabio Florido, Marco Yanes and Kehakuma's resident Remo. The sessions in the Zen Garden are one of the most pleasant surprises of the season, thanks to its musical quality and the unique atmosphere that is created in the room.

On the Terrace we will be able to enjoy sets by Gerd Janson, Motor City Drum Ensemble and Studio Barnhus.

Danilo Plessow began to be known by techno lovers in 2008 when he launched his Raw Cuts series through his Motor City Drum Ensemble project with which began to gain a foothold in charts. In such a manner, he has made from his beloved Stuttgart his own Motor City. Later that same year he recorded a podcast for Resident Advisor that put him in the international spot. As a remixer he has worked for Terre Thaemlitz on Mule MusiqDanilo's label has the same name as his project called Motor City Drum Ensemble Records.

Studio Barnhus is many things, a trio of DJs, a record label, and a studio in Barnhusgatan, Stockholm. Studio Barnhus is basically what happens when Axel Boman, Petter Nordkvist and Kornél Kovács get together to make music. As a trio of DJs, Studio Barnhus has created havoc in disreputable dens and abandoned warehouses. Axel is the famous producer who rose to stardom with his hit Purple Drank in 2010, and has continued to bombard with his own brand of fresh house music from the basement of Orphanage Street. Petter is the kid prodigy who left everyone with their mouths open with his anthem Some Polyphony in 2006. Kornél Kovács is a legend of electronic music in Stockholm, a DJ who is constantly gaining merit through his productions.

Gerd Janson grew up in southwestern Germany, Janson would soon be a regular at the legendary Milk Club of Mannheim. A few years later would come the Liquid Nights with Thomas Hammann at Robert Johnson in Frankfurt, his magazine articles for Groove Magazine and Spex, the record store in his hometown Darmstadt, and his collaboration as a member of the Red Bull Music Academy. He recently started making remixes for groups like Antena and DJ Designer Imposter, also a compilation of songs from the '80s with Jazzanova and Sonar Kollektiv.

Kehakuma is avant-garde in its purest form, check it out at Space Ibiza on Saturday, September 21st, from 10pm. You will not regret it.
