This Friday, September 20th, we will end the most subversive party of the white island. From 10pm, we will have the privilege of attending the last chapter of Clandestin at Space Ibiza.
As it has been the norm for the entire season, our resident DJs HITCH and Paul Reynolds will enliven the night from the Sunset Terrace. During this hot summer the two have given ample proof of their musical quality and their commitment to the Clandestin movement, trying to bring their sessions to a higher level. Their generosity and dedication are worthy of our appreciation.
The night on the Terrace of Space Ibiza will begin with Gina Turner, this New York native DJ grew up with House sounds from clubs like Shelter and Sound Factory. Inspired by the sounds of these places, she moved to Boston and managed to grab the controls of two radio programs. She soon became a basic element in the Boston club scene and subsequently moved to Los Angeles in search of new challenges. In Los Angeles she was part of the DJ duo STACCATO, continued her radio programs, and founded an afterhours movement called MAJOR. Gina has collaborated with Laidback Luke, Zoo Brazil, Switch and many other producers, European DJs, Americans, and this September 20th, lands in Ibiza to put an end to Clandestin.
Now based in London, Códec have absorbed influences from Garage, Drum & Bass, Jungle and House to form their sound designed for the dance floor, swinging bass lines and reminiscences of house, all with a UK touch. After generating positive vibes on the night of i-D & Black Butter's Christmas Mix, the boys faced 2013 with the objective of maintaining the avant-garde spirit in their music.
And to end the party, who better than our exclusive DJ throughout the season, the man who has succeeded in giving a new focus to Friday nights, the great Felix da Housecat. From Clandestin we thank him for his sessions and lessons behind the decks, and are impatiently waiting to see what he has prepared for us in this latest edition of Clandestin.
We also want to thank all the DJs who have been through our party and all Space Ibiza workers without whom this project would not have been possible to perform.
We will be waiting for you this Friday, September 20th, at Space Ibiza, to say goodbye to the most independent party of the white island as it deserves, you still have time to join the Clandestin movement.
