FIVE KEY FACTS ABOUT IBIZA CALLING 2013 Featured

ibiza calling okToday is a special day. After fourteen weeks of Ibiza Calling, the season is over. We have a feeling of sadness mixed with the excitement of starting a new story. As Daft Punk says, "like the legend of the phoenix all the ends were beginnings". So, before enjoying the last hours of Ibiza Calling 2013 with a legend of dance music as Junior Sanchez, an upcoming artist like Gelab and the fantastic team of resident Djs with Camilo Franco, Danny Marquez and Ramon Castells, we gonna remember five magical moments of the season:

Hardwell sets: there's no doubt about dates of July 10 and August 28 were two of the great moments of 2013, not only in Ibiza Calling but throughout the island. The performances of the Dutch Dj were really amazing, the club was packed on both dates and the clubber enjoyed them a lot. One track that we listened in both sessions was Hardwell & W & W - Jumper:

The residency of People Of The Night: the six dates hosted by AN21 and Max Vangeli has been a breath of fresh air to the clubs of the white island, a new interpretation of EDM sound and a sample of artists who will be the top DJs in the coming decades:

The appearance of well established artists: Week after week, the Ibiza Calling line-up showed up top names in the EDM phenomena. Fedde Le Grand, Kurd Maverick, Funkagenda, Norman Doray ... These artists have spent more than a decade making the soundtrack of current electronic music:

The focus on young talents: the perfect balance for those big names have been hot and talented young artists, the top DJs of the future. Dyro, Danny Avila or Tom Staar among others are already realities that continue to growing up every day and have been an important part of Ibiza Calling 2013 season.

The resident DJs: definitely the resident Djs team formed by Camilo Franco, Danny Marquez and Ramon Castells has been the icing on the cake. They have played the Balearic sound of this century, have managed to do the warm up great to have a perfect night and they played excellent closing sets to match any top DJ. Professionalism, skills and good taste to complete an excellent season.
