A BURLESQUE SHOW TO START A SEASON FILLED WITH GREAT ARTISTS LIKE FANGORIA, BOY GEORGE, SCISSOR SISTERS, ULTRA NATE, BIMBA BOSÉ OR DAVIDELFÍN.
Summertime is here and CAFÉ OLÉ opens its doors next Saturday June 18th. Very well known and a must on Ibiza’s nightlife, this party brings crazy nights of multi-sexual fun, full of glamour and surprises, and this season it comes stronger than ever with a stellar line-up and lots of special collaborations.
Introducing: 'Burlesque', 'Back to Disco' and 'Pervert', the new themes for CAFÉ OLÉ parties, incredibly produced, will take over the Main Room of Space, which will be transformed every Saturday and no doubt will become the island’s fun heart. Pablo Kopanos, winner of the 2010 Deejaymag award for Best Upcoming DJ, will lead the line-up. Residents Danny Leblack, Rafa Madrid, Frank Morin and Luque will be hosts to guests Boy George, Fangoria or Dimitry From Paris… get prepared, you'll be dancing your socks off to the best house music, and that's just the beginning. Frosting the cake, state of the art live performances with guest stars such as Ultra Nate, Lisa Millet, Patrizze, Miss Davilota, Newyorker’s Lorena Xtravaganza, in her Ibizan debut, and of course, the most famous transexual in the world: Amanda Lepore. Last but not least, you will be delighted with the bodies and moves of the Go-Gos, acrobats and other surprise performers; you just have to be there!
Burlesque nights will leave you open mouthed with the most famous pole dancers, strippers, fakirs, sword swallowers and a long list of surprisingly amazing live acts. The show is on, it cannot be described it has to be experienced.
Komitee, the new concept from Republik, will bring the best house music to the Terraza with Rafa Ariza, Paul Darey and Jimythesun bossing the booth, together with guest artists the calibre of Plastik Funk, Robbie Rivera, Antoine Clamaran, Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano, Mastiksoul, Carlos Fauvrelle, Chus and Ceballos, Francesco Farfa, Alex Neri, Camilo Franco, Tom Novy or the house legend Roger Sanchez amongst many more. In addition 'Rock Nights' will bring in the rocking sets of The Glimmers, South Central, Cassette Jam and Colin Peters and 'Malaputa Rock' will rise up the mood with The Zombie Kids & Ikki.
Rock Nights and Malaputa Rock will be hosting the Red Box. The first brings Colin Peters, The Warriors (Crete Djs that shake the Greek islands with their electro house sound), Kostrok, Silvia Superstar, Graham Thunder, Nasty Mondays, Tit & Salgado, Daniel Peñacoba and Miqui Puig. The second presents The Zombie Kids & Ikki and Daisy Heartbreaker.
The Sunset Terrace will be Ibiza Global Radio’s territory, they will invade the turntables at 10pm with conquering DJs David Moreno, Toni Moreno, José María Ramon, Miguel Garji, Adri Tur, Anna Tur, Issie Nixon and Aleksia… but soon enough, later in the night, the resident DJs of Café Del Mar, will take over to create their acclaimed and eclectic chill sessions (Café del Mar also on the Premier Étage during the month of August).
During August, El Salón (another of the alternative rooms of Space) will present the party "Who's The Boss" created by the versatile and internationally known Silvia Prada, illustrator, “culture shocker” and DJ.
“Who’s the Boss” is a well know event in Barcelona, New York and Ibiza, it is not just a party, it is a meeting point for people with artistic and cultural restlessness.
What started as a get together for people from the world of art, film, TV, fashion and the clubbing scene, has become an event where the music is the epicenter of art in all its forms.
