The eighth edition of the International Music Summit, held in Ibiza from 25 to 27 May, has had as great protagonist Pepe Rosello.
On May 25, there was a round table composed by the owner and founder of Space Ibiza, who also was accompanied by DJ Carl Cox and music manager Lynn Cosgrave. Under the title "SPACE: THE END OF AN ERA" led by Grego O'Halloran, was full of stories about the beginnings of Space and Carl Cox at the club.
Pepe Rosello, during the conversation, with great diplomacy spoke about his views on the current state of the music industry in Ibiza and recalled the prohibitions suffered when he was forced to cover the terrace and also closed parties day. On the other hand, that same night, Pepe Rosello received the "Legend" award during an honorary dinner held on the terrace of Space. Garlardón that has been delivered in past editions names like Nile Rodgers, Fatboy Slim, Pete Tong and Carl Cox.
Regarding Pepe Rosello, Ben Turner, said:.. "Closing Space, the club created and directed by Pepe Rosello, means the end of an era for Ibiza Island will be another island to Space The passion and love of Pepe for music is always materialized in the club. He was the only owner of a club to which the public received with the same fervor as the DJ. Pepe has done much to Ibiza, creative and politically, and that certainly deserves this recognition from the music industry and IMS"
