#SethTroxler, #JohnTalabot, #MarcMaya, #DJKoze, … Saturday night August 9th resulted in many hastags, but especially for a Trending Topic that dominated the Ibiza night: the biggest lineup of #Kehakuma-elrow.
Twitter, Facebook and Instagram were smoking. Everyone wanted to share with the world the party they were living at Space Ibiza. Some in the Main Room of elrow and others in the Terraza of Kehakuma. It didn’t matter, anywhere in the club there was something to say.
Like every Saturday, the warm-up dance floor of the night was located in the Sunset Area, with performances by Marc Maya, DJ V and Alex Pott that were acclimating the audience for the evening.
“I <3 elrow” wrote a follower when the session by George Privatti began. The liveliest Tech-House atmosphere began to warm with the characteristic sound of the Viladecans club, followed by Raul Mezcolanza. Arriving at 4 am was Techno and House international guru, Seth Troxler. Mobile phones out, this needs to be publicized!
Troxler, who has just released the label, Soft Touch, delivered the most forceful set that we are typically accustomed to. The sound of Detroit, one of its clear inspirations, was present in his performance that connected directly with the thousands of people who packed the Main Room of Space Ibiza. Seth Troxler seemed comfortable as he was immersed in the surreal world of elrow, thanks in part to the support he received from his fans as they danced uncontrollably. In the end, the more grateful applause for Troxler was the most sincere dancing clubbers.
After the most sublime three hours of the American artist, the rowero sound seized the party once again. Marc Maya closed the Main Room spreading good vibrations that have marked a new generation of electrónica enthusiasts. But meanwhile, what was happening in the Kehakuma dance floor?
Javi Bora opened the Terrace with his personal style that has transformed him into a symbol of this alternative party. Next, the reference of the Frankfurt and Berlin scene, nd_baumecker assembled antagonistic sounds with the most surprising result. He often says that he aims to “maximize”his music and so he did with a huge set that revealed his unquestionable spinning greatness.
“59 unread messages”. This was no time to answer any WhatsApp amid starring John Talabot. His organic and immersive House invited attendees to mingle with their suggestive experimental rhythms. Dance and melody fused into one session evocative of patriotic artists who triumphs worldwide. The complicity of Talabot’s music with the audience was remarkable although the nature of the DJ from Barcelona showed he was timid behind the decks. Shyness that could not hide the immense talent of the creator of one of the best albums of 2012, ‘End’. Far from jumping and moving his arms in the style of an “EDM star”, John concentrated on his sound and creativity coming out of his mixer. And, once again Kehakuma prevailed in quality over posing.
To close the night, German DJ Koze seamlessly joined Minimal and Disco tracks that made for a session that flowed as a single subject. His exquisite taste and personality won the hearts of pleasure-seeking followers who were pleased to hear immortal productions like his remix of Moderat, his ode to “Bad Kingdom”.
Tiga, Los Suruba, Marcel Dettmann, Levon Vincent, and more, form part of the most talked about theme on Saturday August 16th. Buy your ticket or VIP pass to Kehakuma-elrow and share the experience of this major weekend party.
