Energetic, powerful, vigorous… we were short on adjectives to describe last night’s Clandestin pres. Full On Ibiza in which Ferry Corsten once again was the master.
Once the work week is over, is there anything better than starting the weekend with the most electrifying party? Obviously, not. The event on Friday, July 4th began with the pre-party of Full On Ibiza at Tantra. There, fans could ask for autographs, talk and take some pictures with their idols, and listen to the most cutting edge music as a warm-up before entering Space Ibiza.
Once inside the club of Playa d’en Bossa and giving way to the real party, Corsten surrounded himself with a team of artists carefully chosen for the occasion. Sied Van Riel, Bassjackers, Will Sparks and Paul Reynolds were responsible for setting the bar even higher with the third night of Clandestin pres. Full On Ibiza.
If anyone deserves separate recognition, it’s Reynolds. The experienced DJ that from the first hour to close was giving a music lessonin taste without showing one bit of tiredness. His session progressed increasing the BPM’s adapting to the mood of the audience.
While Reynolds could dose the energy of his set, the duo Bassjackers had to condense all their electro-house with touches of trance in an hour and a half. More than enough to shake the dance floor of the Main Room with their tracks ‘Mush Mush’, ‘Hey!’, ‘Grid’ and ‘Raise Those Hands’ with R3HAB.
Without time to assimilatethe great performance by the Dutch, HE arrived. Yes we talk about the creative force behind the label Full On Ibiza, Ferry Corsten. The other half of New World Punx and creator of hits like ‘Made of Love’ and ‘Ain’t No Stoppin’, was at 110% in his setalone; and also in B2B with his guests, probably the highlight of the evening, and where the public was more integrated.
And the European trance sound, jumped to another continent without leaving Ibiza. Will Sparks, the new promise of electronic from Melbourne and number 2 of Australian DJs according to Inthemix, at the height of the moment blasted tracks such as, ‘Ah Yeah!’ and ‘Hard Nation’ while the LED panels projects the most striking images.
Clandestin presents Full On Ibiza ended just as how it started... with Sied Van Riel wowing attendees. As the saying goes, the last ones will be first and this Friday was evidence with his set, which did not miss his latest track, ‘Without You’.
And after this festival, what do we do? Don’t wait until next week to buy your ticket or VIP pass for next Friday. BT, Cosmic Gate, Ferry Corsten, Jacob Van Hage and Paul Reynolds: 6 huge reasons to repeat Full On Ibiza.
