With the Sunset and Terrace rooms open, we enjoyed an evening of fun, good music and of course, dancing.
The names chosen to issue the call to Ibiza clubbers were Cazzette, Mike Candys, Sidney Samson and DJ residents Camilo Franco and Ramon Castells.
The one in charge of opening the party at 11pm was Ramon Castells, master of the Sunset area, which proved his seniority with a 6 hour set, evolving and adapting to the influx of the first dance floor at Space Ibiza.
While the Sunset dance floor was warming the night, the Terrace gave start to the party at midnight with a small sample of resident Camilo Franco, because with only 30 minutes, Columbian DJ warmed engines to an audience thirsty of Electronic Dance Music.
Soon the duo Cazzette stormed the set with their catchy rhythms and striking basses. Because if there’s one thing that identifies these guys apart from its fabulous masks, it’s their music influenced by retro electronica.
After the Swedish group came time for Sidney Samson, the DJ and producer did not leave any of his hits aside, and it’s that “Riverside” and “Celebrate the Rain” are already common with his selection. This magical night had its high point with the arrival of the man with the largest yellow smile in Ibiza, Mike Candys.
About 3:30 am Michael Kull, as named by his parents, Mike Candys as known by the rest of the world, busted out a set in the Terrace shedding its energetic aura and dedicated with one goal, to make us jump for over an hour and a half, and like almost everything this guy proposes, he receives. If anything characterizes the Swiss DJ and producer is the passion that sheds his sets, a passion we can enjoy for the second time this season on the Terrace of Space Ibiza.
Camilo Franco arrived to give the finishing touches to the work of art Ibiza Calling had prepared last night. A full hour set to leave us at the gates of dawn wanting more.
If anything became clear last Wednesday, is that good quality EDM on Wednesday nights at Ibiza Calling, has found its home on the white isle.
