As it usually happens in Ibiza, the recognition of a successful, well done job comes from beyond our borders. This appreciation fills us with satisfaction, gratitude and pride.
This year is very special as it has an endearing meaning for us: we celebrate our 25th anniversary. In this unique occasion, we are surprised and thrilled to receive a new award, a prize which confirms Space Ibiza as the most respected club on Earth.
Space Ibiza’s history has earned its countless awards, an extensive gallery of honors which are exhibited inside the club for the fans to enjoy them.
Last Christmas, great news came as a foretaste of what was going to happen afterwards: the Vicious magazine, a specialized publication made by and for real ‘connoisseurs’ of electronic music, had chosen Space Ibiza as Spain’s Number 1 Club through an open poll. We would like to thank the Vicious team for their job in spreading and supporting electronic music as a cultural phenomenon.
Now, on the first days of this longly awaited spring, more great news come and bring a new feeling of gratefulness. On March the 27th, the most prestigious and renowned musical magazine, DJ Mag, announced on its Facebook that Space Ibiza had been chosen as the World’s Best Club.
It is the audience that has brought us to the very top, awarding our allegiance to the best electronic music and to the island of Ibiza. We are enormously proud of the trust and appreciation the public grants us. We would also like to thank DJ Mag’s team and collaborators and congratulate them for their huge work in raising awareness of the world of electronic music.
Finally, we reach March, the time for a great event that brings artists from the whole planet together: the International Dance Music Awards (IDMA).
Musicians, artists, promoters, ‘staff’, agents and obviously an amazing audience meet in Miami to fill the city with their happiness and their art. All electronic music genres are invited to this universal event. On March the 28th, we are delighted to receive some brilliant news: the Best Global Club award in the 2014 IDMA goes to Space Ibiza.
Space Ibiza has received the ‘triplet’, the three most wished and valuable prizes in the world of electronic music, on the very year of its 25th anniversary.
As we did with the magazines, we thank and congratulate the IDMA organization for their brilliant job and their ability to turn the city of Miami into the center of music while the festival lasts.
Space Ibiza does also want to thank the audience of Ibiza, our mother island; the whole Space team, including our staff and our artists; and all those whose participate of our musical parties, including our visitors, fans and friends, for choosing Ibiza as their destiny and Space Ibiza as the place to celebrate. We want to invite them all to the events we will host to commemorate our 25th anniversary.
