Forget trying to nail Mark Storie to a genre for he’s a Dj/ Producer who’s from the school of thought where only those who’ve perfected the art of mixing need apply. If it has a bass line, a beat, melody & above all else that killer groove, chances are Mark is already championing it…

It’s all too easy to endlessly list Mark’s accomplishments since his 2003 debut at the now legendary End/AKA club for Underwater/ Kidology under his Ninja Cowboys guise or wax lyrical about his key long term monthly residencies in the majority of London’s world-renowned outdoor terrace & late night venues over the last 8 years...

Fast-forwarding nineteen years & bringing you up to date, since a very young Scottish kids natural affinity first started with spinning records (He’s been collecting vinyl even longer), being touted as a ‘One To Watch’ in the UK’s Tilllate & Guestlist Network magazines. Fully embracing new technologies & current musical trends the Dj booth is, more than ever a comfortable place to be with his current bi - monthly stint at Sven Vath’s Cocoon Club in Frankfurt, Germany regularly playing for five hours + across the main room & lounge… Playing the Terazza of (the officially voted World’s No 1 club by Dj Mag) Space in Ibiza & featuring heavily on Festival Stages, Beach Parties & Club shows in many far-flung global destinations for his well-documented Toolroom Knights residency.

His perfectly crafted & programmed Groovy /Deep Tech/Techno & House sets are packed with fx trickery, sinister drumbeats, sublime bridges between tracks & when needed an uncanny ability to layer bass for extra punch. You can feel the confidence radiating of him as he bobs his head to perfectly matched bass lines! A modern day musical maestro, Mark sacrifices all his energy on every performance as if it’s his last to give you the best entertaining experience he could possibly provide.

Unquestionably just as skillful producing in the studio as he is performing on the road, receiving critical acclaim from his peers, most notably for his debut Toolroom Trax release ‘Class A’ which was played 6 weeks in a row on the BBC Radio 1 specialist dance shows with top placing download chart positions & rave reviews in the National dance press for a high percentage of his 5 year discography of Electronic Dance Music. Let’s not forget his remix of Pete Tong, Paul Harris & Jay-P’s debut release on Toolroom again featured on the BBC Radio 1 airwaves & his most recent collaboration with production partner Nick Sheldon ‘Gyoza’ has been receiving excellent reactions on the worlds best dance floor’s & has been picked up as an ‘exclusive’ by Toolroom Records for their ‘Ibiza 2011’ album, due out mid summer.

Having propelled himself into the Premiership these last few years, compiling & mixing arguably some of the most successful digital dance albums of recent times … The Toolroom Ibiza 09, Toolroom Miami 2010, Southwest Four Festival Weekender, Toolroom Miami 2011 & Toolroom Ibiza 2011 albums, between them racking up tens of thousands of downloads, Dj Mag dance chart No 1, UK & US iTunes No 2. & No 5. Dance album chart, taking over the whole Beatport Top 10 & 33 tracks in the Top 100 from the Miami 2011 album featured all at the same time!

Along the way, Mark has had the pleasure of honing his craft & sharing the booth controls alongside many dance luminaries like Mark Knight, Pete Tong, Steve Angello, Sebastian Ingrosso, Nic Fancuilli, Gaiser, Heartthrob, Umek, Fedde le Grand, Sander van Doorn, Funkagenda, Chris Lake, Fabrizio Maurizzi, Afrojack, Benny Benassi, Joachim Garraud, Wolfgang Gartner, Stephan Bodzin, Oliver Huntemann, Marc Romboy, Tocadisco, Adam Beyer, Jaguar Skills, A Guy Called Gerald, Matt Tolfrey & many more…

The future looks bright for this rising star he truly is a “Leader Of The New School”.
