Itchy‚aka Itchy Rich‚ cut his teeth in his home town of London DJ'ing & promoting from the age of 15. Since then he has been working on various different projects fuelled by a passion for a wide variety of music.
Over the last few years he has been a regular at London club nights like Mulletover & No Fit State plus UK festivals including Bestival, Glastonbury & Lovebox. Playing a blend of deep bass driven house with funk and disco influences.
Most recently Itchy has co-founded & pioneered the new and unique Road to Nowhere Festival which launches this year in the UK, gathering momentum and gaining a strong following for this by staging a string of intimate yet diverse events including a Pyjama Disco at Glastonbury & a pool party at Pikes Hotel, Ibiza.
The Road to Nowhere has led Itchy to form the Road To Nowhere Soundsystem, a side project which has recently been making cameo at heavyweight institutions like Return To The Future‚ in London and Circo Loco in The Arena‚ in Birmingham. The cosmic festival crew have already confirmed appearances at a string of UK festivals this year.
With big plans confirmed at UK and international festivals this summer including Secret Garden Party and Burning Man as well as focusing on getting back in the studio working on productions and collaborations ready to be released later this year, 2012 is set to be a busy year.
