UMF to host Terrace at Space Opening Fiesta 2012 Featured

Ultra Music Festival is about to work its way across the Atlantic Ocean and inject the white island with a unique global flavour.

We are excited to officially announce that UMF, the world’s premier electronic music festival, is gearing up to host the Terrace at Space Opening Fiesta 2012 on Sunday May 27th. Feeling remarkably fresh after three-days of pure unadulterated musical pleasure in Miami at the most important gathering of electronic artists on the planet, UMF Ibiza is packing its bags and preparing to take the helm of one of the most acclaimed rooms at Space Opening Fiesta where world-class artists 2manydjs will be ripping up the dancefloor.

This isn’t the first time that UMF Ibiza has hosted a room in Space Ibiza and as well as playing a major part in kick-starting the summer’s proceedings, UMF Ibiza will also be rounding off the season at Space Closing Fiesta 2012 on Sunday October 7th.
Like Space Ibiza, the mother of all electronic music festivals is no stranger to scooping a string of awards, including being voted “Best Music Event” from 2005-2011 at the International Dance Music Awards (IDMA), and from DJ Awards Ibiza, "Best International Dance Music Festival" in 2008.
The continuing collaboration between the Best Global Club and UMF Best Music Event is stepping up. At the past edition of UMF Miami the powerful electronic music force brought together over 150.000 clubbers who enjoyed a line-up of more than 200 national and international artists. On the Space Ibiza stage at UMF 2012, and almost lifting the roof right off in front of 7,000 clubbers on the 25th March, was John Digweed, Steve Lawler, Adam Beyer, Joris Voorn, Nic Fanciulli, Umek, Layo & Bushwacka!, Gui Boratto, Popof, Remo Gelabert, Renato Ratier and RioTGeaR.
Leading the way on an international platform and pioneering new artists as well as serving up the best DJs on the planet, Space Ibiza and UMF have a partnership made in musical heaven.
