The climax of a great season Featured

It couldn’t be other way. After this great Season, the culmination party of the summer 2011 arrived by the hands of Space and with the Closing Fiesta that drew thousands of enthusiasts who wanted to enjoy their last night with the best music performed by those artists that night after night, put the music on to make us party all year. The Flight Area was hosted again by Ultra Music Festival, with a widespread and well designed stage, Function One sound and illumination. Resident DJ Camilo Franco was in charge of the opening party that found a fully crowded parking since the very beginning of the afternoon. When the audience was totally ecstatic, two winners of this year arrived: Sunnery James and Ryan Marciano showing again their talent behind the plates while emanating energy and positive vibes. Then, Fedde Le Grand took their place making it higher than ever with his usual power. After him Wally López: our most international DJ that drove the audience totally crazy with an epic session just before handing over the control to Armin Van Buuren, considered the number one in the world, who closed the stage after midnight blowing everybody’s head off.

The Disco was opened by the usual Café Olé DJ´s: Pablo Kopanos, Danny Leblack and Fran Morin, followed by Markus Schulz, an Armin Van Buuren session, and a set repetition by Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano. All of them winners of the BE party this summer.

In the Sunset Terrace, closing presented by DJ MAG magazine, the performers were DJs Steffen Baumann, Elio Riso, Yousef, SOS and Uner, who presented a perfect live, Radio Slave, Mr. Doris and Oscar Cano making everybody dance track after track in this fully crowded Terrace.

La premiere étage, hosted by British Airways, is another outdoor area where the audience was also delighted with the music of DJ´s as Marco Loco, Rad Damon & Iban Reus, known as Kodiak, and the resident Ramón Castells.

The Terrace was also the main figure of the night, mostly in the morning, with the special session of 5 hours leaded by the Great Carl Cox who took us to a midday audience absolutely ecstatic. Kehakuma brought us the best of the underground music performing with the greatest of the moment: Edu Imbernon, Remo, Jamie Jones, Nick Curly, Maya Jane Coles, Steve Lawler, Nic Fanciulli, Carl Craig and the very Carl. None of them has let us breathe and nobody wanted to miss it; it’s really unlikely to repeat such a line up with such artists all in one room.

In the Salón, one of the smaller rooms but not for that less party, great music was performed by Vazquez, José María Ramón and Marcoloco.

Finally, the Red Box enjoyed the international representation with an excellent music leaded by Tino Morgado, Mark Ursa, Dj Mykris, Paul Darey, Jonathan Ulysses and the legendary Brandon Block who returned home, his home for many years, to put the cherry on top of this closing.

Space Ibiza wants to thank to all the audience for this wonderful season 2011. Thanks for choosing us year after year. Space Ibiza will come back in 2012, stronger and happier than ever!

Meanwhile keep an eye to the international tour with Space Ibiza on Tour.
