Once again Space’s Opening Fiesta exceeds expectations and demonstrates why Space Ibiza has been voted the best club in the world. With a record assistance of 20.000 people, the Opening Fiesta is the Ibizan summer kick-off.
The technologic display was, once again, a fair match to any of the best electronic music festivals of the world. The sound is the best in Ibiza by far, and the staging with giant led screens, hundreds of lights, lasers, Foc i Fum performances and the sophisticated go-go dancers made a perfect complement for the line up, which included some of the best DJs worldwide. Media from around the world were present to inform the unlucky ones that missed such an event: more than 150 journalists, photographers and cameramen requested press accreditations.
Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano got engines running at the Flight Club, all early birds had a taste of the duo and danced like crazy to their house rhythms. As the afternoon went on more and more people arrived to listen and dance to Wally Lopez, Fedde Le Grand, Steve Lawler and Carl Cox. It was an explosion of good vibes and positive energy.
Ultra Music Festival, one of the biggest worldwide, was again host to the Main Room, where Remo, Technasia and Andy Fletcher (Depeche Mode) opened for John Digweed, Carl Cox with a special 5 hour set, Jeff Mills and Christian Varela; none of them gave any respite, track after track they burned the dance floor.
Red Bull did not want to be less and, for the first time at Space, presented its own line at the Red Box: Edu Imbernon, Fonsi Nieto, Raul Ortiz, David Puche, Autosound and Tanja La Croix
We cannot forget about all the other DJs, all put their hearts and souls into their sets and made the Opening Fiesta a memorable one, thank you to: Oscar Cano, Jonathan Ulysses, Marco Loco, Ramon Castells, Rad Damon & Iban Reus, Steffen Baumann, Danny Serano, Yousef, Popof, Elio Riso, Pablo Kopanos, Rafa Ariza, Vazquez, Mark Knight, Mr. Doris, Juan Gomez, Jose Maria Ramon, 2000 and One, Anny Leblanc, the amazing vocalist Patrizze and Ramón Castells.
No doubt about it, Space Opening Fiesta has become the most awaited party in the world.
