Space Ibiza’s Owner, Pepe Roselló, received on Friday 19th the Business Excellence Award 2010 awarded by the chamber of commerce in Ibiza and Formentera.
Roselló, a native of San Antonio (Ibiza ), began his career in the entertainment industry in front of the club "El refugio" and then as director of jazz venue "La reja." In 1962 created the club “Playboy”, "one of the busiest place of this times," attended by, among others, Don Juan de Borbón and Aristoteles Onassis. In 1987 he took over a place originally designed as a conferences and events place that open, two years later, as Space, making history and revolutionize the global club scene with a completely new musical concept that would catapult the island of Ibiza as number one of the destinations chosen by clubbers across the globe, the ability to dance during the day with music spun by major DJs at that time, the attention and customer care as well as the smallest of details become SPACE to one of the world's biggest clubs. Now regarded as the temple of electronic music and one of the most modern and fascinating in the planet. In his six different rooms, involving all the aspects of electronic music, provided by best leading DJs and producers of national and international scene.
