Cr2 return once again for the Ibiza summer season to mix the official Space Ibiza album for 2010. With 2 CD’s of upfront, underground house and techno tracks mixed by MYNC this album offers listeners an accurate and exciting representation of the music you’re likely to hear at the world famous clubbing institute.

MYNC have had a fantastic year so far in 2010, after their return to the marketplace last summer. They’ve already teamed up with house music legends Harry ‘Choo Choo’ Romero & Jose Nunez to work on their successful club track ‘Booger’s’, and have recently joined forces again to release a DJ mix compilation on Cr2 Records for their Live & Direct series. During the build up to Miami MYNC partnered with some other musical legends who are set to make a welcome return after some considerable absence from the scene; Rhythm Masters. Working together to remix the biggest dance record in history; MYNC & Rhythm Master’s version of the classic ‘I feel love’ reached the Beatport number 1 spot in March and remained in the top ten for some considerable time afterwards. Now with their name at the tip of everyone’s tongue MYNC make their stamp on Ibiza 2010 by mixing the world renowned Space album and it certainly won’t disappoint!

There is a clear house/ techno divide on the first two cds with disc one representing ‘La Terraza’ and disc two ‘La Discoteca’. Whilst both are consistent to their genre they offer a mixture of lighter summery tracks compared to darker dense tones and provide an apt description of your clubbing experience. ‘La Terraza’ features tracks from the likes of Affkt & Coyu, DJ Madskillz remix of Gregor Tresher, the top ten beatport track from Nic Fanciulli vs Lusine ‘2 Dots’ and of course the massive MYNC & Rhythm Masters ‘I feel love’. ‘La Discoteca’ is far more deep and techy in comparison featuring tracks from artists such as Robert Hood, Technasia, Secret Cinema, Mark Broom and a lighter interception from Surkin, Bobmo and High Powered Boys with their track ‘Highway’. This compilation also comes complete with a Bonus DVD of footage taken from the closing party last year, ready to get you in the mood for the forthcoming parties this summer!
