Loco Dice & Carl Cox Featured

The rain of stars continues on Tuesdays at Space Ibiza. Carl Cox tonight brings two great talents, or rather, three. Tonight on the Terrace, The Glimmers and Satoshi Tomiie. And in the Main Room, playing alongside the Barbados-born genius, is Loco Dice.

People compare the Belgian duo The Glimmers with fellow Belgian superstars 2manyDJs, although there are many differences between them, starting with a collection of records that some years ago were around 20.000 units, "all of them carefully selected and individual”, for each of their performances, an interesting musical potpourri. A magnetic musical selection is accompanied by a great technique. What Becha Mo and David Fouquaert are doing the show tonight - Join Our Revolution. Judge for yourselves!

Satoshi Tomiie follows The Glimmers on the Terrace. The Japanese DJ and producer akin to the house of incredible success, is another of those artists who have music in their veins, he leaped from the piano to jazz, hip hop and then to the electronic music scene, which has been very successful. 'Trears', released in 1989, the result of a collaboration with Def Mix, was listed as one of the classics of house music. A year later he released his debut album for Sony entitled Full Lick, which had great public and critical reception, with all the singles climbing the top spot on the charts. 'Up in Flames', was so successful that the house tune earned him number one on the dance floors in the UK.

Shortly after launching his own label - Saw Recordings-, from which he channels his more experimental and avant garde ideas. U.S. citizen, Satoshi Tomiie becomes the first American to record for British label, Global Underground. And since there has been no stopping him. Satoshi was at the Opening of the club and is now back to join the revolution this Tuesday.

Loco Dice completes the lineup on the penultimate night of the eighth season of Carl Cox at Space Ibiza. Originally from DC 10, the Turkish-German hit the jump to the best clubs in the world. Loco Dice connects with the audience, always surprising not only for the quality of his mixes but also the exquisite music selection which he plays. Josh Wink and Richie Hawtin are among his fans, as well as Carl Cox, with whom he discussed a collaboration in Ecuador in September for a good cause: The Revolution! See you on the dancefloor!
