It’s Monday once again. Everything related to the most hated day of the week usually brings anger, laziness and generally causes a bad mood for all those who have intensely taken advantage of the weekend. How do you fix the Monday’s bad reputation? Ferry Corsten knows how to do it: the solution entails bringing together the best DJs and the strongest rhythms to the Opening of Clandestin pres. Full On Ibiza.
On June 6th, Space Ibiza was transformed into the site of the first date of the most energetic party of the entire island. The start of the second season became the beginning of the week in an absolute celebration. Corsten, Dimension, Lucky Charmes, Mark Sherry and Thomas Newson in the Main Room and Lisa Chadderton, Paul Reynolds and Rufus White in the Sunset Terrace could not hide their great motivation to debut the famous residency of the Full On Ibiza brand.
The audience, mostly consisting of Englishmen, arrived with excitement to the gates of the most awarded club in the world after going through the pre-party that was celebrated at a well-known location in Playa d’en Bossa. These uncontrollable desires to party could only be satisfied at Clandestin pres. Full On Ibiza.
Lucky Charmes was the first to set foot in the DJ cabin of the Main Room, which was surrounded by impressive LED screens displaying images of the famous Full On Ibiza lightning bolt. The Dutchman had over an hour to conquer the audience that danced to the sound of his futuristic musical performance, until the Young Thomas Newson took over. ‘Black’, his latest hit, was the most cheered to in his electrifying session full of BPMs.
At 2:30am, Ferry Corsten returned home after touring for more than nine months. There isn’t anyone like him that can reunite with their fans without anyone noticing time passing by. His unmistakable Trance style with Electro-House and Progressive-House influences flooded the Main Room of Space Ibiza. As if that were not enough, there was also time to present new hits ‘Anahera’ and ‘Reborn’ which were received with great excitement.
Although it seemed that nobody could overcome Ferry’s set, Mark Sherry withstood the clubbers heave and charm excitement with his timeless remixes. The youngest and most experienced agreed to praise the work of the Scottish DJ. To end an emotional evening, the Galician, Dimension flooded Trance tunes on the dance floor, making the audience dance till the very end with his new track ‘Pull Me Under’.
At the same time, the professionalism of Paul Reynolds, the national talent of Rufus White and the freshness of Lisa Chadderton were the counterpoint to the Main Room on the Sunset Terrace during the Opening.
