The 2014 summer at the northernmost Balearic Island has been simply unforgettable. A series of top artists have visited the rooms of the refined and intimate Space Menorca to offer their music to an enthusiastic audience. Keeping the high standard of such a brilliant season at the closing party was a great challenge, so the Ciutadella club called two world-class DJs to ensure a perfect farewell. And they were proven right with the amazing success of Cristian Varela and Javi Bora at the booth.

The party started at 12:30PM: in very few minutes, Space Menorca got completely crowded. Nobody was willing to miss the great event. The first to take over the booth was Javi Bora, who provided ample proof of his skills with a powerful House set with a Techno touch - played with vinyl disks, as such an occasion demanded. The Mallorca-born DJ ended his show taking the audience to ecstasy with several Armand Van Helden tracks, leaving them ready for another master of electronic music: Cristian Varela.

The Madrid-born artist started his set at 3PM with a spectacular introduction which raised not only the BPMs but also the temperature of the club. His skillfully mixed Tech House and Techno-reedited classics dazzled the attendees. Nobody was willing to leave when the closing time arrived: at 5:30AM, not just the main room, but also the terrace and even the entrance areas were still crowded, full of electronic music fans which didn’t want to miss such a night.

This event closes a magnificent summer at Space Menorca... but it is also a foretaste of another brilliant season still to come: the 2015 summer is going to be, doubtlessly, even better than this one.
