Wednesdays were not meant for partying until Ibiza Calling came and changed the way of thinking for many clubbers. On August 27th it was once again demonstrated that the equator of the week is the perfect time to squeeze the one Ibiza night with the leading DJs of the EDM phenomenon.

The first and last on the decks at Space Ibiza was Ramon Castells. From 11pm until close, the resident of the Salon offered his particular vision of the Balearic and Tech-House sound to the public of Ibiza Calling. In the Terrace, Camilo Franco opened the night with his signature blend of styles that you can relive with last week’s Radio Show. One hour of rhythms in crescendo leading up to the session by the Canadian duo.

Project 46, specialists in mashups and remixes, put the legendary Space Ibiza room upside down. Sixty minutes were enough to launch a freestyle of hits that captivated every one present. Their Progressive-House sound with touches of EDM will be remembered in Ibiza by its pouring dynamism.

Following them came one of the most coveted moments of the party, the session by Quintino. The Dutchman who along with Kenneth G released the track, ‘Blowfish’, pleased fans with tunes that have made a big statement in the electronica scene. There was no place for a respite, quite the contrary, as his set was an ode to dance uncontrollably.

After this tireless DJ, Mike Candys shared his happiness in the form of the most optimistic music. Although Candys wears a smiley mask throughout his set, his animated track list was not hiding from anyone. The creator of the song ‘One Night in Ibiza’ guided the audience through a myriad of sensations based on euphoria and joy.

Gelab gripped the room in the final stretch of the night to say goodbye to all those who still had the energy to keep dancing. And there were many. Those who resisted enjoyed a fine selection of tracks from the Majorcan DJ most promising today.

This coming week the Wednesday flagship party will welcome September with 2WhiteBeats, ATB, Camilo Franco, Ramon Castells and Quintino. Buy your tickets to Ibiza Calling, or VIP passes, and enjoy an evening with the most personality of the island.
