It’s hard to believe we’re already half way through Carl Cox’s 2014 summer run of events at Space Ibiza. Seven weeks in and things just keep getting better and better. So last Tuesday welcomed August in with a complete sell out show of Music is Revolution.
The air around Playa den Bossa had a certain mystery around it come 8pm last Tuesday evening and that was the indicator of what was to come. There was only one party on everyones lips and that was Tuesdays antics at Space Ibiza. The streets were lines with all walks of life but dominance shun through with Spanish and Italians. Adding that extra flavour to the Island. Carl Cox is adored by the Italians and this was proven on Tuesday night when they came out in force to support their hero.
With a line up frill of old and new favourites the scene was set from the get go to be a monster. Carl Cox, Marco Bailey, Deetron, Yousef, Green Velvet and of course man of the moment Hot Since 82 were on the bill. The latter three being notably responsible for one of last seasons favourite anthems “Bigger than Prince”.
Cameras were ready and flashes prepared for what erupted when Green Velvet took to the stage to perform the track live with Hot Since 82. Pure class in all it’s form.
Over in the Main Room things had heated up with both Marco Bailey and Deetron building the atmosphere nicely approaching the 3.30am mark when Carl Cox took over to rip the roof off once again.
Special mention has to go to Andy Baxter who single handedly tore the Space Sunset Terrace apart for his special after midnight session. Groove ridden house of the highest order delivered seamlessly to the packed adorning crowd.
Get your tickets of Carl Cox Music Is Revolution and enjoy another amazing night the next 12th August.
