Six dates and one goal: to shake the dance floor of Ibiza Calling. The residence of German DJ ATB opened Wednesday July 23 with an impressive set playing some of his historic hits in addition showcasing a more contemporary sound. Just as expected, he fulfilled his mission.
Nerves, excitement, joy… the first time always brings a variety of emotions. With more than a 15 year career, ATB is already well used to big events and there is nobody that can resist him. Especially, if accompanied by artists such as R3hab, Camilo Franco, Gelab and Ramon Castells and starring at Space Ibiza, optimism grows by the second.
Ibiza Calling returned to the Terrace, its original dance floor, where Camilo Franco initiated the opening of the night. At midnight the adrenaline of the audience began to wake up to the sublime meeting of resident DJ. Give it all or in doses? The public preferred to keep its energy to the summit of the night, for the performance by ATB.
The DJ and producer André Tanneberger won over clubbers with Trance, Progressive and Eurodance rhythms that have made him one of a kind. Far from conforming with content with the success of its Golden age, the creator of ‘9 PM (Till I Come)’ connected with younger party goers sharing his most current sound inspired by the phenomenon EDM genre that the following DJs knew perfectly.
From Tomorrowland to Space Ibiza. R3hab always performs in the best places in the world to vibrate his fans and Ibiza Calling was no exception. The Dutch DJ stirred the Terrace with his extensive style cheered by the new generation. Behind him, Gelab closed the night without any faltering beats. His tracklist left no moment of rest for the attendees that were satisfied with the biggest smiles.
