Ibiza Calling, Space Ibiza's proposal for Wednesdays this season, convinced a devoted audience that knew what was coming, to enjoy the true essence of Ibiza.
Beginning at 11 pm, the audience joined together for a magical night of entertainment starting in the club's Terrace. Prejudices were not allowed, it was only inevitable to dance, disconnect and be swayed by the beats of the astounding lineup.
Ramon Castells, Ibiza Calling's resident DJ and a veteran in Formentera, knew how to connect with the audience who gathered at the Sunset area. At the same time, Camilo Franco, acclaimed resident DJ for the Wednesday parties, gave the best of himself in the legendary Club Terrace and dropped his track, 'I Got You', which is in the TOP 14 position of the tech-house genre on Beatport.
Sebastian Furrer and Alexander Björklund, known as Cazzette, arrived after midnight to one of the most anticipated openings of the season with the hits that gave them fame in the global EDM scene. From 'Sleepless' to 'Beam me up', no success escaped their performance, praised to the fullest.
The vocal touch of the evening was accompanied by the trio Shermanology. Dorothy and Leon sang harmoniously coordinating their voices with the tempo marked by Andy in charge of providing the melody and rhythm. A complete show in which the voice and sound of EDM merged into one.
Yellow Claw, another trio were the stars of the night that transformed the terrace into a real festival. The mix of boundless styles from the Dutch impressed a keen audience with new musical formulas. From Dubstep to Progressive-House, the mix was limitless. No wonder their set was one of the most original of the Opening.
The responsibility to close this exciting opening fell to the tracks of Gelab who showed promise with their killer sound and selection he had behind the decks. No one wanted to leave when the lights came on, the enormous energy of Gelab left them wanting more.
More essence and above all, more essence of Ibiza, next Wednesday at the best club in the world.
