The historic city of Tongeren, the oldest in Belgium, was the scene last April the 18th of a true invasion. This time, though, it wasn’t the Romans, who founded the town nearly two thousand years ago, to take the city – although the invaders did also come from the Mediterranean. On this occasion, the Tongeren raiders carried the Space Ibiza On Tour flag… and brought a real musical arsenal to conquer the intimate and avant-garde XODA Club.
Local artists Pedro Mercado and Derek D started the evening at 11PM, raising the audience’s spirits and getting them ready for the night’s climax: Camilo Franco’s appearance. The Space Ibiza On Tour resident DJ quickly won the people’s favor thanks to his Deep and Tech House vibes. His connection with the audience was so good that his session, expected to last for two hours, was lengthened to three by popular demand. The party’s greatest highlight came as Camilo played his latest release through the Toolrom Records label, ‘Pondo’. The track brought real madness to the dance floor and showed once again the proficiency of the Space Ibiza resident on the decks.
Space Entertainment wishes to thank Tongeren’s XODA Club for their inestimable collaboration and its people for their enthusiasm and warmth.
