The most awarded club in the world, Space Ibiza, could not miss the greatest event of the electronic music industry: the unmatched Ultra Music Festival held in Miami (Florida, USA). This international event, part of the legendary Winter Music Conference, brings together the most prominent members of the global scene once per year, including DJs, producers, managers and every kind of music-related professionals. After a happy March for Space Ibiza, with recognitions coming from the DJ Mag Top 100 and the IDMA, the Platja d’en Bossa club sent its particular embassy to the Florida state capital city.
Space Ibiza placed a stage with an outstanding line-up at Miami’s Bayfront Park: the resident Danny Marquez was joined by artists such as Cirez D, John Digweed, The Martinez Brothers, Dusky, Cajmere, RioTGeaR, Andrea Oliva and Rony Seikaly.
The location was perfect for intimate sessions, with great closeness between artists and the audience, and the invited DJs did not hesitate to take this opportunity and offer their very best.
Space Ibiza resident Danny Marquez started with an elegant, Deep House-based set, perfect to welcome the afternoon. Andrea Oliva came afterwards with an energetic set, and then Dusky with their characteristic powerful bass sound.
The atmosphere changed when the Martinez Brothers took over the booth: the stage got completely crowded and the audience’s energy was amazing. The New Yorkers offered a astounding set, with their faultless technique serving an excellent selection of tracks. John Digweed’s arrival after the North American duo was another step to ecstasy. The evening had arrived… and not many DJs are better for its nostalgic ambiance than the British, who offered his mighty House music, with dark shades but always with a strong groove. Pure Digweed style.
Cirez D, also known as Eric Prydz, was the last and clearly one of the most notable DJs in a stage full of stars. The Swedish artist preferred music to lights and just let his art do all the talking: two hours of excellent Techno. Pure energy. A one-off emotional experience.
Space Ibiza wishes to thank the Ultra Music Festival audience for their excellent welcome. Also, the Platja d’en Bossa club is grateful to the event organization for their efficiency and invaluable collaboration.
