After a successful season where avant-garde sounds have been the main characters at Space Ibiza, Kehakuma starts its worldwide tour willing to spread its spirit and philosophy all around the world. For it, our curators of Saturday nights at the Ibiza club will count on a first-class artists army, led by its resident, Javi Bora.
The first stop of the tour will take place next November 23rd in Singapore, at Super 0 Season Festival, which receives during 4 dates in November artists such as Ryan Elliott, Tama Sumo or Terranova within others. For this occasion we will count on the Detroit based Californian artist Daniel Bell, Kehakuma's resident Javi Bora and the Singapore club residents, DJ KFC and Aidan.
To talk about Daniel Bell is to talk about Detroit. And talking about Detroit is talking about techno origins and most of the electronic music we listen to in festivals and clubs nowadays. Daniel Bell's musical path starts in 1990 when he takes parts of the Cybersonik project along with two Canadian youngsters, Richie Hawtin and John Acquaviva. From this project came out classics as "Technarchy" or "Cabaret Seven" that have delighted countless of crowded raves attendees. From there he founded Accelerate Records and renamed himself as DBX. It's precisely through this nickname that "Losing Control" was edited, a track that drove the 1994 Love Parade attendees crazy, and through the years has established itself as a true electronic anthem.
Javi Bora's productions find their balance between classy Deep House and groovy Tech House, as we can see in his DJ sets where he displays all of his talent. In 2010 he released his first EP on an international label; Ralph Lawson's 2020Vision. The EP, called "Tierra", received a huge acceptance by world-known artists like Jimpster, Slam or Danny Tenaglia, and launched him to the international producer circuit.
Artists as well-known as Laurent Garnier, Steve lawler, Nic Fanciulli or Luna City Express have all supported his records, appreciating his productions' high quality, and for this most of his tracks have been included in some of the best compilations, like "Old Roots (Miguel Lobo Remix)", included in this summer's ENTER compilation.
