THE BIG CLOSING PARTY! Well what can we say. With 35 artists on the lineup, it's hard to know where to begin. Fatboy Slim returns following his magnificent Space Birthday show with us back at the beginning of August. Joining him on the terrace, which is sponsored by our media partners Pulse Radio, are the couplings of 2manydjs, Groove Armada, PBR Streetgang and Bicep.
Over in the big Room of Doom, our mates from the slopes launch Snowbombing 2014 hand in hand with James Zabiela's record label Born Electric with a dazzling lineup which includes Blawan's debut and only set with us this season. Simian Mobile Disco end their September residency with their incredible live session on a vintage analogue synth set up. Machinedrum brings his live set to 'that system' for the first ever time in Ibiza whilst all time We Love... faves Agoria and Paul Woolford complete this blizzard of techno. Impressive to say the very least. Unmissable indeed.
We spoke to Travis Stewart AKA Machinedrum ahead of his debut solo show and he explained how he plans to play it:
"Aden is a new alias of mine that is inspired by living in Berlin and long nights/mornings out at Panorama Bar. The debut release is on the brand new Ultramajic imprint run by Jimmy Edgar and I. I'll be doing a more Aden-esque set for the closing party at We Love Space."
After Dark, Mr Doris has Craig Charles of Red Dwarf and Robot Wars fame bring his Radio 6s Funk and Soul show to the Sunset Terrace whilst over in El Salon, the Lo Cura Lounge marks the end of the season with London's own vinyl emporium Phonica who promise to bring a fine selection of wax in the record bags of Simon Rigg and Optimo (JG Wilkes).
Not to forget up on the heavenly roof of the Premier Etage, Balearic legend Alfredo does what he does best, whilst two of our most Northern residents Jamie 'Fatneck' and Ian Blevins go back to back for a final stint.
Last but not at all least, we have our trusted band of We Love... residents, without whom we wouldn't be the party we are today. Jem Haynes, Ryan O Gorman, Jason Bye, Ian C and Andy Carroll. And the last chance to see - Jonathan Ulysses.
PHEW! Now if that isn't a whole bunch of stuff to look forward to, then we don't know what is!
