APOTHEOSIC SEASON FINALE FOR SPACE MENORCA

Just around 11pm, Saturday September 21st. With most of the pre-sale tickets and the VIP tables sold, an endless queue of clubbers was waiting in front of Space Menorca for the Closing Fiesta to begin. And the night couldn’t go better!

From the early hours, the club was filled with music lovers, mostly locals, which did not want to miss the chance to farewell the summer with an exclusive national line-up.

Gelabert, Space Menorca’s resident and with a huge projection on the island, was in charge of opening the night and offered an energetic warm-up which prepared the main room for the guest artists. Around 2.30am, House South Brothers made their entrance on stage unleashing the madness with their acting and Manuel Moore’s performance, which didn’t hesitate in grabbing his guitar, climbing on top of the booth and offering a recital to the crowd. The musical euphoria carried on during their whole set and reached its climax with Juanjo Martin’s appearance in the DJ booth. The Madrid artist, considered as one of the best Spanish producers, conquered the crowd in an eye blinking with his frenetic and highly danceable rhythms. His session was, probably, the best way to put an end to a season full of joy and successes for the menorcan club; waiting for next season’s opening.

For its second season, Space Menorca has brought some of the best actual national and international DJs, high level artists who had never before performed on the island of Menorca. There are many who believe that Space Menorca has introduced the clubber culture on the island, causing a musical revolution and betting on a technical and artistic quality never offered before. The professionalism of all Space Menorca staff has been also key to this success, and Space Menorca and Space Ibiza would like to thank all people’s effort and partners who and have been part of this magnificent project. We would also like to acknowledge the local public’s support. Without them this would not have been possible, so we would like to infinitely thank the support shown by all clubbers, some of them repeating night after night. Thank you all!
