Japanese DJ Hito has played an intricate part in ENTER. since it's inception in 2012, wowing the guests with her forward-thinking electronic music and entertaining in equal measure, getting behind the bar with Richie Hawtin for weekly sake tasting sessions. It's no wonder she's became a firm-favourite with ENTER. fans and artists alike.

What's your lasting memory of ENTER. 2012?

The whole ENTER. experience was fantastic... Ibiza, black dots.. everything was dynamic and new for me so whole the ENTER. summer is a beautiful memory, especially the Sake bar. I was there every week so I remember smiles of Sake bar team and the space team who work there ;)

How does it feel to be back at ENTER. this year?

I am very thankful to be playing at the Sake bar again this year. I spent 3 months in Japan this winter and I talked about ENTER.Sake in Ibiza, because Japan is so far away and people don't know so much about it. There were many young brewers who were interested to hear about it and appreciated this happening.

What's the connection between Sake and music?

I have learned that Sake is made by very simple elements, which are the Rice, Water and Koji (yeast). To see the process of Sake brewer is very beautiful and has so many methods. This is looks like composing electronic music, especially the process of minimal music, very simple elements and dynamic art. I am learning to compose electronic music now and I want to share the feeling of the Sake brewer. Sake is a very clear and pure. Last year I played kind of watery effect using my Kaoss Pad, maybe I will this year as well and I would like to make a bit more edgy.

What can we expect from your performances at ENTER.Sake?

Basically I am living in Berlin, so I am very inspired by the Berlin scene. During the time I stayed in Japan, I also got so much inspiration. I have met so many young Japanese DJs and sounds so I would love to introduce nice electronic music from Japanese composers. Maybe you can listen my first tracks this summer as well...we will see.

Which Japanese producers should we be watching out for this summer?

DJ Sugiurumn is releasing many new electronic sounds now. His label is called "Bass Works Recordings" http://bass-works-recordings.com/ Nice to check them out!

What else are you working on at the moment?

I made a DJ mix for the ENTER. compilation CD... It's my first time work and release so I was very excited and nervous, but I feel it's ENTER.Sake and hope people will get the feeling inside of the ENTER.Sake as well. I also found several themes I want to express so I started to compose some of my own tracks. You might to listen to them this summer on the floor ; )

Osteria Pinino, Fish restaurant in Talamanca! They are so nice ones!! Delicious Fish, vegetables and Smiles ;D

Any tips for Ibiza first-timers?

Ibiza has a very beautiful nature. Nice to have a very simple life and experiences on the Island. You can see and feel inside of you.

Any tips for first time Sake drinkers?

Don't drink too much!
