August ends and most subversive party of the white island continues its progression, this Friday August 30th with a performance by Booka Shade at Space Ibiza.
From 10pm the music begins on the Sunset Terrace, with the help of our two residents HITCH and Paul Reynolds. Two tireless warriors that show their skills on the decks Friday after Friday.
Eagles & Butterflies will be responsible for opening the Terrace, it seems that this young DJ will have a quick takeoff in the underground circuit this year. Strongly supported by some of the more established stars (John Digweed, Felix Da Housecat, Hernan Cattaneo, Heidi, Jozif, Tale Of Us, Infinity Ink and Tone Of Arc) his career seems unstoppable.
Next, one of the highlights of the night, the overwhelming Booka Shade. Booka Shade are Walter Merziger and Arno Kammermeier, two of the most prolific producers of the German electronic house label, Get Physical, one of the best-selling labels in the underground with an electronic house that respects the commercial without overly perverting creativity . During the first references of the label they have handled remixes by very important people such as MANDY, DJ T, Sunsetpeople and Chelonis R. Jones. After editing two albums of synth pop in the early nineties and bringing forward a string of live acts throughout Germany and the rest of Europe in 2004, they have just seen the recognition of their work with their first album on Get Physical with a title that is hard to forget , Memento. The album points out the coordinates of the group, a mixture of synth-pop that sounds old, mixed with contemporary electro-house that makes them sound rabidly current, all without discarding its references to trance as you can check to hear songs like their hit Body Language that they will recover in a new version from their 2006 album, Movements.
To close the night our beloved Felix Da Housecat, his set promises movement, dance and enjoyment without interruption. His rhythms are the heartbeat of his Chicago home, a wild heartbeat that pumps from the depths of his heart. It is an absolute joy to watch him handle the decks, elegant and without losing the smile.
Join the Clandestin movement in order to face the latter part of summer, and when better to do it than on Friday August 30 from 10pm at Space Ibiza.
