Norman Doray is one of the most powerful artists of the last French dance music artists' generation. Although names like Daft Punk, Air, Cassius and Justice, to name a few, sets a very high bar, this Breton does his EDM bit to the scene. His latest work, "Filtré", is destroying dancefloors with this kind of new french touch music.

Amazing moment! just incredible when we think about this today! We were 2 young french guys doing music in our room, just for fun and we came with that track which is still our favorite...Watch out for more news on it ;)
What happen in France to have so many good musicians and electronic music producers?
I don't know to be honest... Ithink we are a country with a lot of different vibes, inspirations from funk disco tribal rock n roll... When you in middle of all this you can be creative and start producing music!
Your last single is "Filtré". We can listen in it a lot of filtered house influences. Has had that kind of music a heavy influence in your career? Who are your favourite artists of that era?
Totally... "Filtré" is like a patchwork of all my influences! I grew up with disco, funk and then suddenly french touch came to my ears. What a shock, in a good way... It was exactly like disco, but faster and with more updated sounds... My favorite artists are for sure Daft Punk, but also Stardust, Cassius, Modjo, etc...

You have to come and check me out because i always smile and i always move my body when i play... I can't help myself, i just love what i do and i think people like this. Concerning the music, I'm really open, and i can play really different tracks, depend on the vibe... With "Filtré" I'm obviously playing a lot of disco inspired track this summer, it seems to work well on the crowd!

Let us know some memories of your first time (as clubber or Dj) in Space Ibiza.
First dj experience was last year at Space i guess... I always played Pacha but last year i was like, why not trying Space, i heard a lot of nice things about it... I tried and i loved it so much! it was so perfect cos i was able to play more tech house, more tribal, which i like!
What is your favourite restaurant on the island?
El Chiringuito, for sure.
What is your favourite daytime place in Ibiza?
A beach, no doubt. Probably Cala Bassa
What is your favourite corner / room / place in Space Ibiza?
Terrace inside the club. The sound is perfect, the space and layover is perfect. can't wait to be back!!!!
