CARL COX ‘THE REVOLUTION - THE PARTY UNITES’ / LINE UP PHASE 2

Phase 2 of ‘The Party Unites’ Ibiza 2013 season can now be revealed, as Carl, Safehouse and Space Ibiza confirm full line-up details for week’s 5 – 8.

As previously reported, this year’s line up at will be announced in 3 phases, 4 weeks at a time with the latest additions reading like a who’s who of dance.

Joining Carl and the Revolution for the first time includes David Squillace, Karotte, Paco Osuna, Steve Rachmad, Eats Everything, Uto Karem and Joris Delacroix.  Whilst we’ll also see the return of Masters At Work, who smashed the main room on their debut last summer, plus Deetron, Dyed Soundorom and Guti (Live)

They’ll be joining the already stellar line up, previously confirmed for Weeks 1-4, which includes Copy Paste Soul, who’ll be bringing his unique blend of deep house to Space for the first time. He’s proud to be playing at what he calls “Easily one of the best nights on the island.”

“The fact that Carl gives new artists a platform, keeps him at the front of the scene and really allows his Space parties to flourish.”

Other debuts include Tania Vulcano, Adam Beyer, Cassy, Marco Corola and Brodinski & Gesaffelstein, whilst there’s also exciting returns from the likes of Carlo Lio, Dubfire, Heidi, Jon Rundell, Laurent Garnier, Nic Fanciulli, Pan-Pot, DJ Sneak, Gilles Peterson, Just Be, Nicole Moudaber, Yousef and Umek.

“It’s 12 years and we’re back with a bang,” says Coxy. “We always try to keep things fresh, making the night better with each year that passes. I’m a big believer of moving forward so whilst keeping everything that worked last year we’re moving into a new phase too with some wicked guests, some familiar faces, and as always a few surprises... This year, the party truly unites!...Bring it on.”

This year sees the return of the Revolution DJ competition that ran to huge success last year with 4 different winners winning slots at Space. The winners got to play to their biggest ever audiences with some using the opportunity to kick start their professional career. Just ask Andrea De Niro, one of the winners from last year. After wowing Carl at Space, he’s been invited to open for Carl in Athens on April 20. Anwar & Mike Bites own ‘Wall2Wall’ nights in London have since gone from strength to strength, proving that this is one competition definitely worth entering.

This year Carl and Safehouse are looking for 3 lucky DJs to join them throughout the season. To stand a chance of playing alongside Carl atone of the worlds most iconic clubs, and winner of ‘BEST GLOBAL CLUB 2012 at this year’s International Dance Music Awards, all entrants need to do is submit a 30-minute mix to Mixcloud.
