Back To The Disco. Café Olé Featured

Café Olé went Back to Disco this week with a live show from legends Boney M who have been shaking their shimmy for decades and show no sign of stopping!

Beginning early in the evening, Boney M gave an incredible, exclusive one hour performance and took over the Discoteca with a stunning repertoire of their famous hits including ‘Brown Girl in the Ring’, ‘Daddy Cool’ and ‘Rivers of Babylon’. All ages had turned out to see the pioneers of disco whose music in the 70s contributed hugely to shaping the disco movement;   their single ‘Rivers of Babylon’ was the second highest selling single in UK history.

Glam and high-energy made Saturday night at Café Olé a colourful place with a vibrant atmosphere where Boney M’s vocals, house classics and the most listened to disco music hits were the predominant features. The fabulous show, great number of go-go’s and performances and the spectacular stage production contributed to creating one of the most magical nights of the summer.

As Chus + Ceballos whipped up big classics from the DJ booth and sent the  dancefloor into a frenzy,  Baby Marcelo, in sky high stiletto boots and his unusual outfit, entertained the rest of the Café Olé family on the Terrace with his provocative show.

The great session from the bosses of Stereo Records gave way to dance music’s new promise Danny Avila, who brought the night to a climax with a set that intrigued the crowd, creating a moment of unique togetherness at Space.

If Space Ibiza is the family, Café Olé is without a doubt, the rebellious, sexiest sister that is simply all about having fun and letting the love shine in any way, shape or form it can.
