The urban clothing brand Bench, known for its close relationship to the music world, will be in charge of designing the official T-shirts of the Opening and Closing Parties of Space Ibiza. Space Ibiza On Tour, the Space party in clubs around the world, will also have its own T-shirt designed by Bench.
The agreement will extend throughout 2012 and also includes co-sponsorship by Bench of the Space Opening and Closing Fiestas, as well as a weekly party at Space Ibiza. Bench will also be the official sponsor of Space Ibiza On Tour and Space Ibiza’s four resident DJ’s: Camilo Franco, Danny Marquez, Paul Darey and Remo. The British brand will clothe the resident DJ’s, who will sport Bench’s newest and most modern designs during their sessions at Space or at the Space Ibiza On Tour events. It is the second year that the Ibiza club and Bench team up together.
The T-shirts, which will be of limited edition, will go on sale exclusively in the Space establishments in Ibiza, where the club has four shops in the main shopping areas as well as the two shops located within the club in Ibiza. The T-shirts designed for Space Ibiza On Tour will go on sale throughout the summer, while the Opening and Closing ones will only be available for about two weeks prior to and after the event.
The official presentation of the agreement will take place in a few weeks. Of course, artists from Space will be present and there will be surprises yet to be confirmed for all attendees. Details of the official presentation will be announced soon on the Space website, www.spaceibiza.com.
BENCH all started in Manchester in the dynamic late 80s, a time of thriving youth subcultures; skateboarding and boxing were on the rise and the ‘madchester’ music scene was about to take the world by storm. Bench was at the heart of this energetic, exciting time, taking its inspiration from the people around it to make innovative, relaxed clothing, purpose built for the urban world they lived in. These strong roots now resonate globally, with presence in over 30 countries and their own stores in the UK, Canada, Germany, Spain, Portugal, Switzerland, Austria, Poland, Czech Republic, and France. From humble beginnings to global status, Bench stayed relevant and true by constantly striving to create innovative, fashionable clothes inspired by real people and the real lives they lead.
