Last Saturday, Space Ibiza experienced one of the most flammable mixtures that we have hosted so far this year on the island. While elrow prepared the father of all parties staying true to the style of Mexico, Kehakuma and their Japanese minimalist style atmosphere continued its path to musical excellence.

The opening of the Sunset Terrace kicked things off on this new Saturday at the club in Playa den Bossa. For this occasion, the emerging label by Moda Black founded by Jaymo & Andy George headlined the night next to Ion Pananides. Continuous uninterrupted music for 8 hours consisting of three impressive sets is what this outdoor room had to offer.

Kehakuma sought its characteristic sound refinement in the Terraza of the club with Edu  Imbernon, Javi Bora and Tania Vulcano b2b José de Divina. The first performance was by Edu Imbernon. His worldwide performances are adding an amazing richness, as we heard in his latest track for the Toolroom label with Los Suruba. His session was the perfect starting point for a night that seemed very special.

Javi Bora took to witness the Valencian. The audience reacted perfectly with the amazing raw rhythms that the Majorcan projected towards them. The resident of Kehakuma rounded a session full of dark, catchy and funky rhythms.

Tania Vulcano and José de Divina performed the only b2b of the night. The union of these two symbols of Ibiza are giving a lot to talk about Saturdays at Kehakuma. Both know how to perfectly swim in the waters of Deep House and Tech House with astonishing skill, as shown by recent tracks that they released together for labels, Get Physical Music and Voltaire Music. With a session that began at 4am, they were in charge of taking Kehakuma until the light of Sunday with its closing session.

Elrow meanwhile prepared a spicy night in the Main Room of Space Ibiza. Having Mexico as the theme had a lot to offer. Mariachis, guerrillas, skulls and Mexican wrestlers filled the classic styled discotheque of the guys from Viladecans. Groove Armada and Csaba Lumnitzer better known as Jay Lumen completed the lineup with residents Mario Biani and Marc Maya.

The strong rhythms of Mario Biani opened the main room of Space Ibiza around midnight. Many already know the typical aggressive style that he imposes with his sessions. He warmed-up the audience perfectly for the arrival of Jay Lumen.

The Hungarian landed in the club minutes before his set.  The winner of the best Underground DJ at the 2014 Ballantine’s Música, showed the great capacity he has to soak up the atmosphere and give listeners the best tracks for every moment. Clubbers enjoyed the most beautiful and purest Tech House sound. A few minutes from the end of his set, the atmosphere was bustling in the Main Room of Space Ibiza awaiting Groove Armada.

The British duo formed by Andy Cato and Tom Findlay promised strong emotions on the dance floor. The famous Big Beat sound the Englishman spread around the room like wildfire. The singermornings couldn’t stop dancing with their hands in the air. One of the most memorable moments was when he spun his new song ‘Alright’, a House track for the label which was commanding the Sunset Terrace, Mode Black. If we had to define their DJ set in one single word, it would be, EXPLOSIVE!

After them, Marc Maya took to witness the guys from Newcastle with the task of bringing the festival to fruition. The resident of elrow is experienced in a thousand battles, between all the characters and confetti, he greatly met his objective by making us dance until the break of dawn.

For one more night, elrow -Kehakuma managed to outdo themselves. Buy your tickets for elrow-Kehakuma for next Saturday July 11th and enjoy Pional, Martin Buttrich, Josh Wink b2b Steve Bug, Anja Schneider, Paul Ritch (Live) and many more.
