Sant Jordi B, the Preferente youth league football team sponsored by Space Ibiza, were the judges of the promotion to the national youth league in the match held at the Can Guerxo pitch last May the 3rd. The game, the last of the tournament, ended up in a 2-0 victory of the home team against San Rafael with goals by Javi Costa and Martín Macarro. The visitor’s defeat ended their chances of promotion: Formentera, who had won their match, overtook San Rafael, reached the first place and were promoted to the upper division.
Sant Jordi B have ended the season in the fourth place of the tournament with 33 points. Their coaches and players will soon begin to work on the new season, a promising year both for the team and for its proud sponsor, Space Ibiza.
