Thousands of clubbers gathered last September 6th and 7th at Sepang F1 Circuit (Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia) to celebrate the second edition of We Love Asia; and concretely on Saturday 7th, the day on which Space Ibiza was hosting a stage which promised a handful of sessions worthy of the most awarded club in the world. Exactly what happened! From 3pm and until 2am, everyone who approached the Space Ibiza Stage danced wildly to the rhythms of the artists in charge of representing the club from Ibiza. Sander Kleinenberg, Arno Cost, Mikael Veermets, Tomcraft and the residents Camilo Franco and Danny Marquez didn't disappoint the audience and offered a mixing recital full of high voltage sounds.
Danny Marquez and Camilo Franco were in charge of opening the stage, each one presenting his arguments based on a wide musical range that went from House to Progressive House, hints of Electro House and highly danceable beats; the same they are used to do when performing around the best clubs worldwide during their Space Ibiza On Tour gigs. They also seized the occasion to present new tracks that will soon be released. Ended their sets, Mikael Wermeets took control of the booth. The Swedish youngster offered a varied and fresh DJ set, ranging from Progressive House to Tech House and unleashing the madness among attendees.
Ended Mikael's performance, Tomcraft showed up on stage as a surprise guest. The german got to play a set proper of his reputation: Highly danceable and overwhelming Progressive House which turned out to be the perfect blend to win a crowd in record time.
As a transition before the main course, Arno Cost offered a snazzy and melodic performance, although not less powerful, that ended up releasing the euphoria that was planning around the Space Ibiza Stage and that carried on with the appearance of the headliner: Sander Kleinenberg. The multi-talented Dutch artist offered an eclectic set, able to conquer the most refined and demanding ears.
With his set, the festival and Space Ibiza's adventure in Kuala Lumpur ended achieving its goal: Get Malaysian public enjoyment and make an impact on a festival that, after its second edition, predicts a great future.
