How is the DJ life? Is it harder than we can imagine? Is it difficult to manage the success when you are so young?
Well this is something I've always dreamt of and something I have been working towards for over 10 years now. This is all I know and all I want to do. I don't regard this as a job but a lifestyle. Our scene is going through something truly remarkable and I'm so happy to be a part of it but there is so much more I want to achieve. I'm building my label Revealed Recordings and its great watching guys like Dyro and Dannic doing as well as they are. I'm something of a workaholic but that's how I have always been. I have a lot of good friends and people around me which keeps me grounded and focused on my goals.
I have the feeling that you're going to be in the top 3 of Dj Mag Top 100 poll. Have you got the same feeling?
It isn't really something I've thought about to be honest with you. The last few weeks have been really crazy with touring and studio work that I've not had much time to think about anything else. I'm extremely honoured to have been voted #6 in last years poll and to be included again this year would be great but we'll have to see...what's important for me is the music and that the people who come to my shows and listen to my music enjoy themselves.
Your latest single is "Jumper", produced together with W&W. Tell us more about the track?
This is a collaboration that's been in the making for a while as both our schedules have been really hectic. I've had the guys release on my Revealed Recording label before and I'm a fan of their work, so wanted to get into the studio with them and see what we could create together. I'm very happy with the final results because the track has been a firm favourite with the fans since I started playing it within my sets.
Tell us why we should come to Space Ibiza to listen to you play?
Well the last show was insane. The room was so packed and the atmosphere was immense. Space is a unique club that holds a special place in the heart of Ibiza clubbers which makes it a great place to come and play.
Let us know one track you will play at Ibiza Calling for sure?
Well 'Jumper' might get a play but I want to keep the whole set a surprise because this is my final Ibiza show for 2013 and I want this to be something very special.
Share with us some of your memories of your first time in Ibiza?
My first time playing Ibiza was when Tiesto invited me out to play alongside him at his then party at Privilege back in 2010. It was an incredible experience and a great introduction into the magic of Ibiza.
What is your favourite restaurant on the island?
B.For Sushi takes some beating.
What is your favourite daytime place in Ibiza?
I like to go up North and check out the beaches. There are so many beautiful places up in that part of the island that it's difficult to select just one. I suggest anyone who goes to Ibiza on holiday takes the time to go and roam around the north of the island.
What is your favourite room to play at Space Ibiza?
The Terrace is a special place. I just love the feeling you get the moment you walk in.
