Friends since the tender age of 13, Blackhall & Bookless have spent the last decade honing their ability to captivate a dance floor with their irresistible double headphone, three and four decks sets deep into the moodiest of groove-ridden house and techno. Brought together through their joint love of the four-to-the-floor, they've developed a knowledge of music well beyond their years and since 2007 have established themselves as the residents and driving force behind the internationally recognised Newcastle and London club night and brand, Jaunt.

Their ability to switch seamlessly between the downright dirty and more silky of sounds is displayed through their selection of guests; they've hosted and played alongside the who's who of dance music including Kerri Chandler, Omar S, Jamie Jones, Julio Bashmore, Kyle Hall, Steffi, Prosumer, the list goes on. Their excellent acquaintance and connection to the underground is delivered directly to the public through their monthly Jaunt podcast. With contributors like Jordan Peak, Terence Terry, Adam Shelton, FCL, Dorian Paic to name a few, and 165,000 subscribers worldwide.

Regularly hosting the Newcastle branches of the Circoloco, We Love and Zoo Project parties, this summer they'll be flying south to the White Isle to play the latter as well as Space and Privilege. They'll also be returning guest to the sun-drenched Hideout Festival in Croatia as well as Leed's Garden party, alongside a whole host of other nights around the UK. After years of DJing it's no surprise they've recently turned their abilities to production and have a release scheduled on Vitalik, Catwash and Tigre Fair this year. With plenty of talks on-going with other labels and such a solid foundation already built in the underground, it looks like 2012 and beyond is shaping up rather nicely for these Geordie lads.
